The Award-Winning author of How the Garcia Girls Lost Their Accents and In the Time of the Butterflies will be speaking about the nature of Hispanic culture, the role of women in dictatorships, and the alienation manifested in political structures.
Tickets are available at Hillel, in addition to The Ohio State University Bookstore, Long's Bookstore, and the first floor of Enarson Hall.

The Meaning of
Life…in 10 Weeks Mondays (beginning 9/30), 8:00 p.m.
Interested in expanding your knowledge of Judaism? This weekly course takes you more deeply into Jewish texts to unpack ancient wisdom, using primary sources (in English).
Jam with Da Jews 2002 Tuesdays
(beginning 10/1), 7:00 p.m.
Just bring it and take it to da house, as the Jews show that we can play some ball! Meet each Tuesday throughout the quarter at Jesse Owens North for this co-ed basketball jam! No experience necessary.
Lunch and Learn Wednesdays
(beginning 10/2), 12:00 p.m.
Study the weekly Torah (Bible) portion over lunch in the Bagel Café, with the original texts and commentaries. We'll treat you with a 50% discount on your lunch!
Modern Israeli
Dancing Wednesdays (beginning 10/2), 7:00 p.m.
Shake like Shakira, kiss like Stella! See what everyone is raving about and learn some of the most energetic, modern Israeli dances. No experience necessary.

Need Kosher food but can't make it all the way to Bexley? Place an order with Seth at Hillel (rosenzweig.4@osu.edu) by noon on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month and your food will be waiting for you at Hillel the following Tuesday. Payment due upon ordering. Special first order will be placed on Monday, October 7th -- next order will be made on October 14th.
